I didn't dare wear my uniform out in public for fear of being spat at or heaven knows what else. I only hope that today's attitude means many have wised up. I'm glad today's troops don't have to experience what we did. Thanks 7-11, Applebee's, and the rest. It's nice to finally feel appreciated, even if it seems a little late.
