Take a look at this chart- many people have a theory that if oil is X that gasoline prices must be X, and so on. Unfortunately due to varying factors, the oil/gasoline relationship isn't always so easy to understand.

no fundamentals to justify the gouging. "need all of the above energy". so that oil isn't the main energy source to make money off of.

gas prices are what gas companies want. when crude went down, price went up, when crude goes up gas prices go up. no differencer
