Another fantastic win for the Celtics. Now all we need to do is finish off the Lakers in the next game Tuesday evening.

After a rough game last night hope they show up with everything they have. Thankfully this game is at home, though I was thinking the same thing last night with the Bruins. Cleveland is waiting, and will have to wait until Wednesday now. Let's hope the Celtics are playing then.

The Celtics needed a win like that though, to take the pressure off them for a day or two. The Wizards are now I believe the worst team in the East, so if they were going to blow someone out let it be last night!

Celtics buried the Wizards 108 to 83 last night. I prefer a close game to a blowout.

They LOST to the Warriors? That's just pathetic. I didn't watch it at all. Just finding out here, now. That's unreal. Talk about a letdown!

Unfortunately, the Celtics have lost two in a row on the West Coast. I'm still despondent about the loss to the LA Lakers and didn't stay up to watch last nights game with the Warriors.

We'll see about that, driftwood. Luckily they play again in Boston in less than a month, January 19th I believe.
But while they came up short in LA, the Celtics did break a couple of records, and they should be able to regroup and hopefully the two teams do meet. In the meantime, there are a few other good teams out there. Cleveland and Houston among others.

Fourth longest winning streak comes to an end. Celtics overpowered by LA Lakers 93-82. Seemed more like a playoff game than a regular season game. A lot at stake for both teams.

19 wins in a row. Best in NBA history 27-2. Franchise best and NBA best. Celtics 110 to 76ers 91. Celtics "a team with a winning attitude."

Boston's 1981-82 team also won 18 consecutive games. The Celts only need to win one more to set both a team record of 19, as well as an NBA record 27-2 start.

Longest win streak in franchise history...#18 it is!!! Career high for Rajan Rondo with 26 points. Celtics beat NY Knicks 124 to 105 and the beat goes on.

Next up the record of 33? The best record all time for a team with only 2 losses is 26-2 also...Seems well within reach right now.

Another win for the Celtics 88-85. Atlanta Hawks played a great game, but the Celtics outplayed them in the last few minutes of the fourth quarter. KG's the man! The beat goes on!!!
